Health Disparities Roundtable 2018: Incarceration: A Public Health Issue

The Health Disparities Roundtable is an annual event at the end of National Public Health Week. The purpose of the round table is to bring national and local speakers to campus to discuss emerging issues in health and racial equity research, policy and/or practice. This year's round table will identify strategies to prevent individuals from entering the criminal justice system and examine what can be done to reduce the impact of incarceration on the health of the family members. This free event provides an opportunity to network with faculty, public health professionals and other community members and is eligible for 2.5 SPH re-certification credits.
