2nd Annual Stanislaus County Caregiver Resource Fair

Hosted by Community Hospice this year, the 2nd Annual Stanislaus County Caregiver Resource Fair will be held at the new Stanislaus Veteran’s Center in Modesto on Monday April 2nd, 2018 from 8am to 1pm.

The mission of this event is to provide a “one stop shop” means of support and empowerment to benefit the health and well-being of all caregivers in Stanislaus County. The fair will offer a continental breakfast, health screenings, community vendors, opportunity prizes and education workshops including four speakers, all free of charge. Featured presentations will include financial planning, behavioral issues and caregiving, Advanced Health Care Directives, and funeral planning.

At this event, community organizations in Stanislaus County come together to serve our county’s caregivers with whatever resources and support you have to offer. This year we are even having blood pressure checks, free anxiety and depression self-assessments, videoscopy (Ear Check), and a spinal screening.

We are still encouraging local businesses to be involved so check out our website for more details! Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Krystal Irwin, MSW
