Town Hall Meeting/Educational Session Addresses America's Failing Health
The Public Health Nursing Department of Chinle Indian Health Service, the Navajo Nation Community Health Representative (CHR) Program, and Navajo Health Education Program invite the public to the Chinle Community Center on Monday, April 6 from 9-11 AM for a kick-off program for National Public Health Week. Miss Navajo and other Navajo Nation and State of Arizona dignitaries will participate. Then, from 1:00-5:00 PM on April 6, come to the new Chinle Clinic Hospital Lobby to learn more about how your home life, community, school and workplace impact your family's health. Children restrained in car seats are safe children, but not everyone knows how to properly install the seats or if their safety seat is age-appropriate for their child. Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center's Women's Health Education in partnership with Safe Kids Arizona wants to ensure that children are safe while traveling by car. From 7:30 - 10 a.m. on April 9, a free car seat safety check will be offered in the
Child Development Center parking lot, 14505 W. Granite Valley Drive, just behind the hospital's main entrance. To arrange an appointment for a free car seat safety check, please call Catherine Walden at 623-214-4418.
